The Center for Writing Excellence (CWE) is available to students, faculty, and staff at any stage of the writing process and for any type of writing. We offer 30-minute, in-person appointments and 1-hour online appointments with trained undergraduate and graduate writing consultants. We offer support for developing your text and facilitate experiential learning sessions.

The writing center will start offering appointments for the May 2025 session on Thursday, May 1st. When you schedule an appointment, two types are available. Please review the descriptions below and select the appropriate response on the appointment form.

• Face-to-Face Appointment: All face-to-face, or in-person, appointments are located on the second floor of Collier Library; however, these are unavailable after 4:00 p.m.
• Video Chat Appointment: These virtual synchronous appointments include a real-time chat session with a consultant about your paper through Microsoft Teams. You need to log in to una.mywconline.com for your appointment meeting. Locate and click the yellow box to find your scheduled appointment. Next, click "Start or Join Online Consultation."
